YouTube, Twitter and Organic Traffic For Websites

Author: Sharifa McFarlane Sanderson

Most webmasters like organic traffic. Organic traffic is traffic that comes naturally to the website via the search engines, when potential customers enter a particular search term in their attempt to find information, or a product that meets their needs.

People don’t only use traditional search engines to get information. Youtube and Twitter have search functions and these two media are also used by internet surfers to find information-whether that information is in the form of a video or a link, or whatever else they can find to help them.

Organic traffic is preferred because organic traffic is more likely to be targeted. The consumers that find a website through organic traffic are at least 50% more likely to buy a product, or click on an ad on the website, if the product meets their needs, or the ad promises further information related to their needs.
